This section provides key information for teachers including details of the workshops we offer, guidance on organising a visit, how to book and other useful information. Much of this information also applies to bookings made by other groups.
Please note. Teachers are expected to remain supervising their students at all times during a visit to BPT museums. Whilst workshop leaders will be responsible for teaching and learning during a session, they cannot be responsible for ensuring students behave appropriately. For more detailed guidance on what teachers can do to ensure a safe visit to our museums, please see individual risk assessments for the workshops. These are available to download from our website or can be sent out to teachers on request.
The quality of its learning provision at the Building of Bath Collection has recently been recognised by a Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge.
